Casa Billie
Nestled in the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula, Casa Billie is a Palm Springs-inspired coastal sanctuary that came to life after a trip to the United States in 2019. Rosie and David King, the creative duo behind the boutique accommodation, embraced warm mid-century tones and playful bursts of colour to create a space that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern.
Luxurious details reward a closer look – a green terrazzo benchtop in the kitchen, and floor-to-ceiling pink mosaic tiles lining the curved sculptural shower wall bring both vibrancy and texture to every corner. Outside, cactus gardens, swaying palm trees, pebble ground cover and stepping-stone pathways create a dreamy desert-inspired landscape that feels surprisingly at home along the South Australian coastline.
There's an ease to the way it all comes together – visually striking, yet entirely liveable. A home designed to be as functional as it is captivating.
